a year ago, a clearly disturbed individual took the lives of too many people on the virginia tech campus. shocking to say the least, gruesome massacre of so many people. the story of the elderly professor who used his body to block the door when the gunman came to their classroom, saved the lives of his students. i think he may have been a holocaust survivor too.
my mother watched the news while she was in ICU, after they performed quadruple heart bypass to save her life. she said so many people are fighting to stay alive, she was fighting to keep alive, and someone just took all those peoples. she was solemn after that, shook her head. she had looked so tired but she was still alive then.
rest in peace.
